اَرَءَیتَ الَّذِی یُکَذِّبُ بِالدِّینِ

Araayta allathee yukaththibu bialddeeni

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense

فَذَلِکَ الَّذِی یَدُعُّ الیَتِیمَ

Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAu alyateema

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

وَلَا یَحُضُّ عَلَی طَعَامِ المِسکِینِ

Wala yahuddu AAala taAAami almiskeeni

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor

فَوَیلٞ لِّلمُصَلِّینَ

Fawaylun lilmusalleena

So woe to those who pray

الَّذِینَ هُم عَن صَلَاتِهِم سَاهُونَ

Allatheena hum AAan salatihim sahoona

[But] who are heedless of their prayer

الَّذِینَ هُم یُرَآءُونَ

Allatheena hum yuraoona

Those who make show [of their deeds]

وَیَمنَعُونَ المَاعُونَ

WayamnaAAoona almaAAoona

And withhold [simple] assistance
