وَالعَدِیَتِ ضَبحا

WaalAAadiyati dabhan

By the racers, panting

فَالمُورِیَتِ قَدحا

Faalmooriyati qadhan

And the producers of sparks [when] striking

فَالمُغِیرَتِ صُبحا

Faalmugheerati subhan

And the chargers at dawn

فَاَثَرنَ بِهِ نَقعا

Faatharna bihi naqAAan

Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust

فَوَسَطنَ بِهِ جَمعًا

Fawasatna bihi jamAAan

Arriving thereby in the center collectively

اِنَّ الاِنسَنَ لِرَبِّهِ لَکَنُودٞ

Inna alinsana lirabbihi lakanoodun

Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful

وَاِنَّهُ عَلَی ذَلِکَ لَشَهِیدٞ

Wainnahu AAala thalika lashaheedun

And indeed, he is to that a witness

وَاِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الخَیرِ لَشَدِیدٌ

Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedun

And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense

اَفَلَا یَعلَمُ اِذَا بُعثِرَ مَا فِی القُبُورِ

Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alquboori

But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِی الصُّدُورِ

Wahussila ma fee alssudoori

And that within the breasts is obtained

اِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِم یَومَئِذ لَّخَبِیرُ

Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeerun

Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted
